This Privacy Policy explains how MyGarage360 ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Information we collect
- Account & contact: your mobile number (used to sign in via OTP/PIN), and optionally your name, email, and profession if you choose to add them.
- Vehicle information: details you add such as make, model, year, variant, fuel/body type, and registration number.
- Documents: documents you upload (e.g., insurance, PUC, RC) and the expiry/validity details extracted from them, so we can show reminders.
- Orders & delivery: delivery addresses and order details for paid custom QR stickers. Payments are handled by third-party processors โ we do not store your full card or bank account numbers.
- QR & scan activity: when your QR is scanned we may record scan events (such as time and, where you or the scanner permits it, approximate location) to power scan alerts, parking mode, and stolen-vehicle features.
- Technical data: standard log information such as device/browser type and basic usage needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service โ authentication, your garage dashboard, QR contact pages, document reminders, parts lookup, and AI Mechanic guidance.
- To connect a person who scans your QR with you, according to the contact settings you choose.
- To process and ship paid sticker orders.
- To send service notifications (for example, automated mail from noreply@mygarage360.com) and to respond to support requests.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent misuse, and comply with the law.

4. AI Mechanic processing
When you ask AI Mechanic a question, your message and relevant vehicle context may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate a response. Do not include sensitive personal data in your questions. Responses are informational only (see our Terms).
5. Third parties & official portals
We share data only as needed to run the Service, for example with: hosting and storage providers; payment processors; AI providers (for AI Mechanic); and challan/vehicle-data APIs where you request a lookup. We also link out to official Government portals (IIB, VAHAN/Parivahan, Sarathi, eChallan, NETC FASTag) and to marketplaces (such as Amazon and Flipkart). When you leave for a third-party site, that site's own privacy policy applies. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, after which we will remove it except where we are required to retain certain records.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your login PIN and device private.
8. Your choices & rights
- Access, correct, or update your profile, vehicles, documents, and addresses from within your account.
- Turn optional features (location sharing, parking mode, stolen alerts) on or off.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
